It helps rejuvenate and moisturise the skin and is excellent in reducing the visible signs of ageing. For the mind and nervous system rose helps balance the hormones, relieve anxiety, ease depression and can naturally increase libido. It is often recommended for those who are grieving a loss. When applied to the skin as a cream, particularly when massaged into the stomach, it can relieve muscular cramps and help ease symptoms of PMS. Rose is excellent for self love, but as an essential oil it is best avoided during pregnancy.
